Data Definitions - Reference Date

31^st March: This date is the first HECS reference date for the year. Student enrolment information measured at this point is for semester 1 students only and student load information is actual load for semester 1 and estimated load for semester 2. The estimated load for semester 2 comes from what units students say they will enroll in at the very start of the year.
31^st August: The second HECS reference date for the year. Student enrolments will contain any student who has enrolled in either first or second semesters. Student load information is actual load for the entire year.
